CIP Reporting 'How to' Guide

 

This document will show you how the CIP Dispatch System works.

  • The CIP Dispatch System works with an employee roster, as such employees are required in order to use the Dispatch System, this document will explain how to upload a roster file and how to use the dispatch System afterwards.

  • To upload a roster file, go to the Roster profile (on the landing page you'll see instructions on how to construct the roster file for upload).

 

  • Then click on the Roster Upload button.

  • You should see the following form, simply fill it out and click on Choose File.

  • Select a file and click on Attach to attach it.

  • One a roster file is attached click on Save Report.

  • To verify that the file was uploaded you can click on Previous Uploads in the left menu to see a list of previously uploaded roster files, you should see the latest one at the top.

  • Once a system has active employees in it, you can go to the Duty Assignment profile.

  • Then click on the Duty Assignment button.

  • You should see a list of active employees, on the right side you can see the current status, from there you can assign an active status.

  • You can confirm the status selection of one or multiple employees by clicking on the Submit button.

  • Once employees have been set to active, the dispatch system is ready to be used, in order to do so go to the Security Dispatch profile.

  • Once there the following page will load, where you can see a list of dispatch logs on the left side and a list of active employees on the right.

  • You can create a new dispatch log by dragging it from the list and over to an active employee and vice versa.

  • This will also work in the case where no employee is dispatch.

  • There are also filters different filter options you can use to facilitate searching for employee.

  • Afterward you can fill in the new dispatch log and click on Record Event to create it.

  • Once a dispatch log is created it will show up on the right side of the screen.

  • You can edit the dispatch log by clicking on it, you can also add more employees to It by dragging them just like it's done to create new ones.

  • To close a log simply click on End Now and the log will go into the Closed Calls view.
